Political Cartoon
Appeasement and the rise of Hilter 1930 1939 – WW2 Political Cartons on Pinterest found at https://www.pinterest.com/pin/559220478707471276/
As the description states, the cartoon perfectly captures the priority Adolf Hitler had in his leadership styles. Relationships were not honored nor was there any respect for other leaders. The priority that the Nazi party had was to overthrow all others to obtain total domination. It didn’t matter the intentions of democratic leaders or what they could offer this new dictator, he would rather manipulate and use them as “stepping stones” in the pursuit to obtain power. Hitler took advantage of the gateways the “spineless leaders” provided to get him to the top. Despite the shameful tactics, Hitler and his regime eventually did obtain power and then used even more pitiful ways to eliminate what he thought was the source of disruption in their society. By overthrowing the other leaders and putting himself in the limelight, his followers believed in what he believed, even if it meant belittling an entire religion of people.
